M4 & M16

  • The M4/M4A1: This 5.56mm Carbine is a lightweight, gas-operated, and magazine-fed. The M4’s selective rate of fire can operate fully automatic or semi-automatic. It is currently the standard issue firearm for most standard and special operations in the U.S. military.
  • The M16: Also known as “black rifles,” was developed in May 1957 by Eugene Stoner. This fully automatic military rifle was developed for the Vietnam War to replace the heavier and less reliable M14 model. It is now an icon in the weapons community for its historical significance.

The 5.56mm effective range of well beyond 500 yards makes it an extremely capable bullet for hog hunting here near Dallas, Fort Worth. Especially from one of the above fully automatic platforms.

AK-47

  • AK-47: Kalashnikov’s Automatic Rifle, better known as the Kalashnikov or just the AK-47, is a fully-automatic rifle that is chambered in 7.62×39mm. Developed in the Soviet Union by Russian firearms manufacturer Mikhail Kalashnikov, the AK-47 is maybe one of the most recognizable firearms ever created.

The 7.62x39mm at full-auto is known for its lethality, making it a great selection for hunting hogs at the Texas-based 4J Ranch.

HK MP5

  • The HK MP5: Developed in the 60s by German firearms manufacturer Heckler & Koch. This is a fully automatic submachine gun that is one of the most widely used submachine guns among world militaries, having been adopted by over forty nations, notably the United Kingdom’s special forces units.

While Germany is far from Texas this 9mm cartrige from the HK MP5 machine gun is more than capable in full auto to make your hog hunt a success.

HK 91 & HK 93

  • The HK 91: Better known as the G3, is known for being Germany’s main fully-automatic battle rifle. Like its military counterpart, the HK-91 features a fluted chamber to aid in cartridge obturation during firing. Surprisingly, it fires the .308/7.62 NATO round, one of the most commonly used American hunting cartridges, only in this platform, at fully automatic.
  • The HK 93: The HK 93 is a variant of the above HK 91/G3 respeced to fire the 5.56 NATO round used in American AR-15s and M4’s. This fully automatic platform is most widely known for its use by the British SAS and is now made available to you for hog hunting.

As stated above when talking about the M4 & M16, the 5.56 NATO round is one of the most capable cartridges created making it the perfect fully automatic weapon for your hog hunt. The .308 catridge from the HK 91/G3 is already widely known for its capability by American hunters, used in hunting all manner of game from Elk to Whitetail deer. Our range provides an outdoor space with multiple steel targets to partake in a rare experience. Our full auto rentals are ready for all levels of shooter, with our teams help. This exclusive experience provided by 4J Ranch here in Texas can be enjoyed safely by groups of friends, family, or company outings.

Barrett 82A1 chambered in 50 BMG

If our various machine guns are not enough excitement, we have the semi-auto Barrett 82A1 chambered in .50 BMG. This firearm and cartridge are virtually unmatched in every category. This firearm can be rented for either a hog hunt or flat range experience at 4J Ranch here in Texas.

  • The Barrett 82A1: This .50 BMG anti-material rifle is still in use in the U.S. Military as a SASR, Special Applications Scoped Rifle. With a maximum effective range of 2,000 yards, there will not be a hog out of range on your hunt. Lastly, this weapon is used primarily as an anti-vehicle weapon capable of destroying an engine block or taking a helicopter out of the sky, so renting it for a wild boar hunt ensures a great time.
